The term 'docu-video' has quite a broad spectrum, as I would class a lot of the work I do under this term. Ultimately, they are one-off videos whereby I would produce a short film detailing a specific event, person or group.
With a documentary on location I would usually capture the majority of the action 'hand held', unless I was filming an interview or doing location shots.

Backstage filming prior to a performance, Promoting artists and musicians, Youth work projects, Promotional videos for new organisations, Showreels, Performance art.
